Kristy Moreno’s only three-dimensional non-vessel sculpture I CAN TELL THAT WE ARE GOING TO BE FRIENDS (2023) sources its title from the eponymous song by the White Stripes. Two femme figures stroll with arms wrapped around each other as the taller consoles the shorter. Evoking the nostalgia of teenage years, the two friends recognize the importance of supporting and looking after one another.
