b chehayeb’s open mouth room study (2021) has evolved as the artist considered memories of looking around her childhood bedroom, which, at chehayeb’s request, was painted an unusual green with purple trim. When asked about the contents of the bottle on the left side of the panel, chehayeb replied, “i dont know what’s in that bottle but i drank a lot of jarritos.”
