Casey Callahan is a multidisciplinary artist working in sculpture, installation, drawing, and performance. Her practice examines the physical and emotional significance of materials, often referencing everyday forms and gestures with a desire to slow down and connect with the unnoticed. Rooted in process, presence, and spatial awareness, Callahan’s work emphasizes subtle shifts in light, texture, sound, and sensation—encouraging viewers to attune themselves to nuance and explore the potential for healing through sensory experience.
Casey Callahan (b. 1996, Omaha, Nebraska) received her BFA from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, NE. Her work has been exhibited at Baader-Meinhof, Studio 62, Mamo Gallery, and Project Project in Omaha, NE; Family in Montreal, Canada; Palazzo San Giuseppe in Polignano a Mare, Italy; and OCHI in Los Angeles, CA.
