I’ve had the distinct pleasure of doing several studio visits while I’ve been in New York. I caught up with Hope Atherton, who is making some beautiful sculptures and amazing paintings. Bing Wright is doing some cool experimental photographs with broken mirrors. And he caught me up on a fun collaboration with MAHARAM, a textile/ design company. He created a wallpaper for them that will be available in the next couple months! Check out some of their other collaborations here.
I also traveled to Sunset Park in Brooklyn to see what Erin Rachel Hudak is working on. (Sadly this is the only studio I remembered to bring my camera to!) I got extremely excited about our upcoming solo show with Erin scheduled for early 2012.
